I have been painting since I can remember. As a child, my art supplies consisted of cheap paint used to create ÒmasterpiecesÓ on rocks I had found or sticks from the yard which I would use to scratch designs into the dirt. I attended Savannah College of Art and Design on a portfolio scholarship and
graduated with a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration. Studying art in New York inspired me to set off for San Francisco after graduation, where the diversity of cultures, natural beauty, and scenic vistas certainly influenced and continue to influence my style and subject matter. I have worked for the past eight years
in the creative industry designing everything from casino advertising collateral to murals for private residences. My work portrays a fun-loving whimsical attitude that I hope brings a smile to peopleÕs faces. I currently live in Pascagoula, Mississippi with my husband and two dogs. I canÕt help but mention my two mixed
breed dogs, who occasionally find their way into my work. Sometimes they are hidden in the background, peering down upon the subject of the piece, while other times they are the focal point.
